The cold and frost that had in the evening in the mountainous areas has caused frost resulting in several roads being slippery, while during the night we had light snowfall in some areas.
According to the Police, due to frost in the Troodos areas, the road network in the mountains is affected, since the roads are slippery. Open ONLY for vehicles with all-wheel drive or equipped with anti-skid chains are the following roads:
Platres-Troodos
Karvouna-Troodos
Prodromos-Troodos
Pedoula – Prodromos
Kakopetrias – Pedoula
In the rest of the road network in urban areas, as well as on the highways, there is no particular problem, this morning.
The Police recommends caution to those who will be trafficking on the road network, who are required to observe the traffic code and traffic signs, to avoid road collisions.
