A projectile was found on Tuesday by construction workers in Pegeia.
According to the Police, the almost half-meter-long projectile, which was found in the context of works at a construction site in Peyia, was received by the Police.
Members of the Paphos Crime Detection Department visited the scene and cordoned it off.
Subsequently, a pyrotechnician rushed to the scene and proceeded to the on-site controlled destruction of the projectile with an explosion.
