The Municipality of Ierokipia has begun planning for the preparation of the Municipal Beach of Geroskipou in view of the summer season, according to the Mayor of Ierokipia Nikos Palios.
Mr. Palios in a written statement said that on Wednesday with a team of officials, they walked the entire area of the Municipal Beach of Geroskipou. He also announced that in June the project "Additional infrastructure at the Municipal Beach of Geroskipou" is expected to be completed, which includes the configuration of a parking space of 225 spaces, a playground and green areas.
The remaining works will concern the reasphalting of Germaninas Street and part of Agapinoros Street, the upgrading of lighting, landscaping works, improvement of cleaning services, removal of algae and stones, various maintenance and repairs, enrichment of the existing greenery, etc. He also announced that today tenders were announced for the supply and installation of coin receivers in showers at six (6) different points along the beach.
