The extension to the deadline for renewing vehicle registration permits expires on March 9 , and this year brings with it a significant change that concerns all motorcycle and moped owners .
For the first time, under the legislation, a technical inspection (MOT) is also made mandatory for motorcycles , which was not a legal requirement until recently. This means that, without a valid Certificate of Fitness, it will not be possible to renew the registration certificate and use the vehicle on the roads .
