Works are in full progress on the old Paphos-Polis Chrysochous road for the construction of two additional uphill traffic lanes in difficult parts of the motorway. One is constructed on the section of the road from Mesogi to Tsada, in the traffic lane towards Tsada.
It is 1.8 km long. For its construction, extensive earthworks are carried out and soil is removed from the slope. The second is constructed on the section of the road from Giolou to Stroumbi, in the traffic lane towards Paphos, 1.5 km long. approximately. The implementation of the project that started a few weeks ago with a duration of 52 weeks will cost €3.479.748,00 plus VAT.
The works are part of the second phase of the contract for the improvement of the existing Paphos-Polis Chrysochous road, following improvement works three years ago.
