In February, the first pair of H145M helicopters arrives at Pafos Air Base, which will reinforce the 450 Helicopter Squadron of the National Guard.
The remaining 4 helicopters will follow later this year under the contract, with a total value of €140 million, while the option to acquire 6 more is retained.
In terms of armament, it can incorporate a 12.7mm M3P machine gun, a 20mm M-621 gun, 70mm FZ-275 rockets with a range of 8 km, Israeli Spike-LR2 missiles with a range of 10 km, in the short term the Spike-ER2 with a range of 16 km, while in the medium term it will be able to integrate the Spike-NLOS missiles with a range of 50 km.
