The Cyprus Police, as the Beneficiary, is implementing the project entitled “Police Training Program for Border Management”, with the aim of continuously training its members in the field of maritime border control. The program focuses on the proper implementation of the Schengen Acquis, the use of maritime border surveillance systems and the exchange of information through the National Coordination Center (EUROSUR Application Training), as well as the effective operation of the coast guard. At the same time, it seeks to strengthen the operational capabilities of Police officers during maritime operations and controls. Upon completion of the project, it is expected to strengthen the training of Cyprus Police members in border management issues, with the aim of more effective and correct execution of their duties.
