The Municipality of Paphos informs the public that, in view of the entrance of the Carnival King which will take place on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 5.00 pm, the following traffic regulations will apply.
According to an announcement by the Paphos Municipality, there will be a traffic closure on Evagoras Pallikaridis Street from the height of Andreas Tselepos (Traffic lights of the Bank of Cyprus) from 16:30 to 20:00.
Periodic traffic regulations will be made on Griva Digeni Street from the height of Athanasiou Diakou Street, from 16:30 to 17:00.
Also, on Gladstonos Street (ascent), periodic traffic regulations will be made from 17:00 to 17:30. Additionally, on Grigoris Afxentiou Street, periodic traffic regulations will be made from 17:00 to 17:30.
Regarding parking spaces for the public, the Municipality of Paphos states that citizens who wish to attend the event can park in the following areas, such as the Former Paphos Police Headquarters Parking Lot. At the Korivos General Staff Stadium, at the 7th Primary School Stadium (Former Turkish), in the open area next to the Pontic Greek Genocide Memorial. At the 1st Lyceum Ethnarchis Makarios Parking Lot (April 1st Street).
To avoid inconvenience, drivers are asked to comply with the instructions of the Municipality's police and traffic wardens.
