The great changes in the city of Paphos in recent years lead to an upward trend and the forgotten and neglected commercial centre of the city for many decades.
Indeed, the recent investments of the local authority in the area, both in the popular neighbourhood and more broadly with the renovations of Chania, public spaces, parking and green spaces, have attracted the interest of private individuals who are preparing to renovate buildings abandoned for years by converting them into small city hotels.
The building that housed the headquarters of the Bank of Cyprus for years will be the first and according to the interest that has been expressed, at least three other small hotels will be created in the center. In combination with the shops that operate both day and night, the character of the historic center is significantly upgraded.
