As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting its citizens and strengthening social solidarity, the Pafos Municipality announces the launch of a new food delivery programme. The program is implemented in collaboration with local restaurateurs, bakeries, grills and other catering establishments in order to meet the needs of citizens who face difficulties in accessing meals.
The operation of the program is based on the voluntary offer of citizens, who are invited to actively participate in the action by offering help to their fellow human beings. The implementation of the program will take place with the contribution of the Counselling Centre of the Municipality of Pafos and the support of social workers, who will have a role of guidance and support of the beneficiaries.
Interested volunteers wishing to participate in this initiative are invited to fill in the relevant application which is available on the website of the Municipality of Pafos and on the official page of the Municipality on Facebook and at the Social Welfare Office of the Municipality. https://pafos.org.cy/%CE%AD%CE%BD%CF%84%CF%85%CF%80%CE.../
The participation of volunteers is crucial for the success of the program and the support of our fellow human beings in need.
Businesses/restaurants/grills/bakeries wishing to contribute to the Programme can contact the Social Welfare Office of the Municipality of Pafos and register their interest.
In addition, all citizens of Paphos Municipality who need assistance with food delivery are invited to contact the Paphos Municipality Counselling Centre. The social workers of the Municipality are at their disposal to provide the necessary guidance and support.
