The Municipality of Pafos, announces due to the Procession of Chariots and Groups, which will participate in the Great Carnival Parade, which will start from the Makarios and Resistance Monument on Saturday 1 March 2025, from 1.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m., the traffic on Griva Digeni Avenue, Grigoris Afxentiou, Evagoras Pallikarides Avenue at the height with Har Street. Mouskou, Nikos Antoniadis at the height with Pallados Street and Apostolou Pavlou Avenue at the height with Agapinoros and adjacent streets, will not be allowed. After the end of the parade, L. Griva Digeni and Evagoras Pallikaridis will be given to traffic in parts.
Citizens will be able to use the following Parking Areas:
– Former Police Department
– 7th Primary School Stadium
– GSK Jacobeon Stadium
– "Karavella" parking area
– Municipal Library parking
– Parking A' Lyceum Makarios III
– Parking next to the Genocide Monument of Pontian Hellenism.
To avoid inconvenience, drivers are kindly requested to avoid approaching these roads and use other directions for their destination.
