Instructions to owners of vehicles recalled due to Takata were recently issued on Toyota's website.
Specifically, it states:
Dear car owners,
We are by your side to deal with together the inconvenience that the KATATA airbag recall process has understandably caused you. We sincerely regret the inconvenience and want to assure you that your safety is and remains our absolute priority. For this reason, we give our best and work as intensively as we can to serve you as soon as possible.
To make the process as easy as possible, please follow the instructions below:
>> For vehicles with European Type Approval EC-WVTA (European Specifications), e.g. Cyprus, England etc. Visit https://forms.toyota.com.cy/recalls/eu-form-en link and follow the steps.
>> For vehicles without European Type Approval EC-WVTA (Non-European Specifications), e.g. Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia etc. Visit the https://www.toyota.com.cy/forms/recall-enquiry link and follow the steps.
If you cannot use the above means:
You can provide a COPY of the title deed of your vehicle (kotsiani) in any of our showrooms all over Cyprus.
