FORECAST FOR THE WEEKEND

The weather changes temporarily, since from today until Sunday it will be clear, while from Monday onwards rain and local thunderstorms are expected. See in detail:

On Friday, the weather will be mostly clear but at times there will be increased high clouds. The winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to a little turbulent, but initially in the north and west it will be a little turbulent. The temperature will rise around 16 degrees in the interior and on the coast and around 8 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight the weather will be mostly clear. The winds will blow mainly northwest to northeast weak, 3 Beaufort, and the sea will be calm to a little turbulent. The temperature will drop to around 2 degrees in the interior, around 6 degrees on the coast and around minus 1 degree in the higher mountains. In the mountainous, semi-mountainous, and locally in leeward areas of the interior, frost is expected to form.

On Saturday there will be intermittent increased average and high clouds.

On Sunday the weather will be mostly clear.

On Monday the weather will initially be partly cloudy to gradually become mostly cloudy with localised showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms, mainly after midday.

The temperature is not expected to change significantly until Monday, to continue hovering near average climatic values.

The height of snow, at the time of issue of the bulletin, was 10 cm in Troodos Square and 20 cm in Chionistra.
