Today, the weather will be partly cloudy and at times mainly cloudy, while local rains and isolated storms are expected, the Meteorology Department reports. Hail is also possible in a storm. Snowfall is expected on the highest peaks of Troodos.
Tonight, locally increased cloudiness will be observed at times, which may result in isolated rain showers, mainly on the coasts.

Today, the weather will be partly cloudy and at times mainly cloudy, while local rains and isolated storms are expected. In a storm, hail is also likely to fall. Snowfall is expected on the higher peaks of Troodos. Winds will blow mainly southeast to southwest and locally northwest, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough. The temperature will rise to 17 degrees inland, around 18 on the coast and 7 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, there will be occasional locally increased cloudiness, which may lead to isolated rain, mainly on the coast. Winds will blow mainly northwest to northeast weak, 3 Beaufort and the sea will be calm to slightly rough. The temperature will drop to 6 degrees inland, around 8 on the coast and to 1 degree in the higher mountains, where frost is expected to form.
Over the weekend, the weather will be partly cloudy, while isolated rains are expected at noon and early in the afternoon, without ruling out an isolated storm, mainly in the mountains. On Monday, the weather will be mainly cloudy at times.
The temperature will increase slightly by Sunday, to hover above average climatological values, while on Monday it is not expected to change significantly. The depth of snow in Chionistra, at the time of publication of the bulletin, was 2 centimeters.
