The positive prospects for Cypriot tourism this year, as well as the partial strengthening of winter tourism, are shown by the data announced today by the Statistical Service for tourist arrivals in January.
According to the Statistical Service, tourist arrivals in January 2025 amounted to 112.100 compared to 87.961 in January 2024, recording an increase of 27,4%. This is a record number of arrivals for the month of January that for the first time exceeded the 100,000 barrier, as a result of the jump recorded in visits from Israel
The same data show that arrivals from Israel were the main source of tourism for January 2025, accounting for 21,1% (23.704) of total arrivals, arrivals from the United Kingdom 16,7% (18.701), arrivals from Poland 14,1% (15.791) and arrivals from Greece 10,1% (11.288).
