Seven of the manufacturer's 26 distributors who submitted vehicle lists for airbag repair filed new data with the Department of Road Transportation and revised the list of vehicles to be recalled.

In total, 2,226 vehicles were removed from the list, while a further 273 vehicles were added. Based on new information from the manufacturer's dealers and dealerships, the list now includes 79,072 vehicles, while the original list on February 3 included 81,060. (That number includes Volvo's 425 that were announced the following day for an airbag recall, but not Takata.)

Of the 2,414 vehicles initially declared after updating its data, Audi left 1,406 vehicles for recall.  Volkswagen reduced the number of vehicles to be recalled from 2,815 to 1,855.

Mazda has 15,869 vehicles to manage from 16,023, SEAT reduced the number from 308 vehicles to 209 and Skoda from 190 to 150. By contrast, Ford's cars increased from 200 to 214, as well as Jaguar-Land Rover and Range Rover cars from 217 on the original list to 476.

It is noted that Unicars, importer and dealer of Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda cars among others, revised the list after the manufacturers evaluated the analysis of the information of the Center of Excellence "Koios".
