TALA REFUSE COLLECTIONS
Please note that Tala Council has now taken over the refuse collection service in Tala.
There will be a collection Wednesday, Thursday and, if necessary, Friday this week. There will not be any collection Saturday or Sunday. The new schedule for collections next week will then be advised, once the staff have familiarised themselves with the area, how long collections take and how long it takes to unload the refuse at the landfill.
If you have not had collections over the Christmas/New Year period, or do not get a collection Wednesday or Thursday this week, please email - kstala@cytanet.com.cy advising your address.
For information, it is expected that the Paphos landfill sites will be full and will be closed at some time in the near future. When that happens, refuse will have to be taken to a landfill site at the other side of Limassol and any schedule will have to change again.
