ROAD AWARENESS CAMPAIGN BY THE PAFOS REGIONAL BOARD OF TOURISM

Cyclists and Motorists: Let’s Share the Roads Safely!

For the fourth consecutive year, the Paphos Regional Board of Tourism is launching a

campaign titled “Let’s Share Our Roads Safely.” The primary goal of this initiative is to

communicate important safety messages to both cyclists and motorists, encouraging

mutual respect and cooperation on the road to ensure safe cycling.

The campaign is designed in both Greek and English and targets the residents of the

Paphos district. It will be promoted through short video spots, static banners on social

media, information platforms, announcements, interviews, and more.

The first phase of the campaign begins today and will run until May 2025.

The second phase is scheduled to take place from September to December 2025.

The Pafos Tourism Board, along with its supporting partners, are actively promoting

cycling tourism. This initiative is vital for cultivating a welcoming environment for cyclists

within the district, as well as aligning with the broader strategy of encouraging the use of

bicycles as an environmentally friendly mode of transportation.
