RAWAIS KHAN WANTED IN CONNECTION WITH INCIDENTS AT POTAMIA

The developments in relation to the case of Potamia are growing at pace, which resulted in the activation of the rules of engagement of MMAD executives, resulting in the death of a 24-year-old from Pakistan.

The 37-year-old, who was arrested today for serious offences, including attempted murder (attempts by vehicle drivers to hit police officers), is originally from Iran.

In addition to the aforementioned and the 39-year-old from Cameroon who is in custody in connection with the case, another person from Pakistan is already wanted. This is RAWAIS KHAN, 27 years old.

The Police appeal to anyone who knows anything that may help locate him, to contact the ICF Nicosia at 22802222 telephone number or the Citizen's Communication Line at 1460 or the nearest Police Station.

All three are reportedly believed to be members of a smuggling ring of irregular migrants into the Republic.
