INVESTMENTS IN DIGITAL UPGRADING OF COMMUNITIES BY THE PAFOS REGIONAL BOARD OF TOURISM - Actions includes new websites, Films, 360 touring, Smart Signs, Audio Guiding etc.
The Pafos Region Board of Tourism continues its efforts to upgrade experiences and promote the Pafos District with particular emphasis on the rural areas.
Among other actions , the following were completed a few days ago:
-The creation of an official website for the AKAMA communities www.akamas.org.cy
-The creation of an official website for the community of Fyti https://fytivillage.org.cy/
-Upgrading the website of the Akamas Geology and Paleontology Information Center in Arodes
with 3 new languages, an audio tour in 5 languages and a 360° tour.
-Completion of the preparation of digital material such as films, 360 tours, audio tours,
photographic material, etc. for 20 points of interest in various rural communities such as Miliou,
Tsada, Goudi, Amargeti, Mandria, Panagia, Salamiou, Fyti, etc.
In addition, a few weeks ago the following have been completed:
-Promotional film for the Regional Bird and Terrestrial Flora Information Center Akamas in
Kathikas as well as a new layout design for existing QRs
-Full upgrade of the promotional films of the Turtle Museum in Inia and their conversion into
German, Polish and Russian.
It is noted that the initiatives concerning the AKAMA Communities are part of the support measures for the Akamas communities, which were announced by the President of the Republic of Cyprus and are financially supported by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism.
