The issue of the danger of the Embas-Talas bypass road is raised again by the President of the Community Council of Embas and Second Vice-President of the EOA Paphos, Marios Metaxas.
Inhis statements at the KYPE, Mr. Metaxas stated that there have been many road traffic collisions on this particular road network due to the poor construction, but also the many small crossings, and various actions are required to make a regulatory plan and general reconstruction of the road with the aim, as he said, to rebuild it properly and safely.
The road is about two kilometers long. Mr. Metaxas pointed out that since July, when he took over as community leader of the region, he has been trying to update the plans and include the project in the state budget.
He said that the competent agencies pledged that they would try to include the project in the state's budgets for implementation.
