DUST, STRONG WINDS AND RAIN ON THE MENU IN THE COMING DAYS

Weak low pressure affects the area. Dust is likely to be suspended in the atmosphere on Monday and Tuesday.

Today the weather will be mostly cloudy with medium and high clouds and it is not excluded that light rains may fall locally, without excluding the possibility of thunderstorms. The winds will blow northeast to east, moderate 4 and locally strong 5 Beaufort. The sea will be a little turbulent to turbulent but gradually in the windward it will become turbulent. The temperature will rise to 16 degrees in the interior, around 18 degrees on the coast and 9 degrees in the higher mountains.

In the evening the weather will be partly cloudy. The winds will blow north to northeast, weak to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort and transient in the windward, up to strong 5 Beaufort. The sea will be a little turbulent in the west but on the rest of the coast it will be turbulent. The temperature will drop to 7 degrees in the interior, around 10 degrees on the coast and 3 degrees in the higher mountains, where frost is expected to form locally.

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday the weather will be mostly clear but locally increased clouds will be observed from time to time.

The temperature will gradually rise slightly to fluctuate slightly above the climatic averages.

The height of snow, at the time of issue of the bulletin, was 21 cm on the highest peaks of Troodos.
