The president of the community of Tala Yiannakis Konikkos demands immediate measures to be taken by the state for the protection of the monastery of Agios Neophytos.
After last year's catastrophic fire on the north side of the monastery, rainwater washed away stones and mud at the entrance of the monastery. The state has promised that flood protection works will be created, something that has not yet progressed.
