ELECTRONIC DRIVER NOTIFICATION [eTOL] LAUNCHED FOR VIOLATIONS OF THE TRAFFIC LIGHT SYSTEM We inform the public that the new electronic Driver Notification process has been launched. This specific function supports traffic violations recorded by the traffic light system. This function concerns cases in which the registered owner of the vehicle is not the driver who committed the violation and is required to indicate the driver. Now, the owner, whether a natural person or a legal entity, can register the driver's details electronically via the website www.CyCameraSystem.com.cy. To register the data, it is required to use the registration number and password, which are indicated either on the registration form, or on the letter sent by post or delivered in person. In case of loss of documents, the owner or an authorized person can contact 80008009, daily from 08:00 to 17:00 (except weekends), to obtain the necessary information. It is noted that, in the event that the registered owner fails to provide any information regarding the identity of the driver, he is guilty of an offense according to article 21 of the Motor Vehicles and Traffic Law, Law 86/72 and will be prosecuted for the said offense. It is noted that the electronic notification of the driver can be made directly through the website, without the need to send Part II of the extrajudicial report to the police.
