The 63-year-old suspect is being asked to give additional testimony in connection with the death of her 62-year-old husband, Vitaly Shostak, from Ukraine, who was found dead in their apartment on Friday night with a single stab wound to the chest. In the case, the victim's wife is in eight-day detention on suspicion of premeditated murder. From the first moment, she has maintained that it is a suicide.

According to information provided by Filenews, the 63-year-old is currently being asked to give additional testimony to the investigators of the ICF of Limassol, in the presence of her lawyer. The suspect is asked to answer additional questions from the investigators of the ICF Limassol and give more details about the case and the events that preceded the fateful incident. In addition, we are informed that the 63-year-old was examined in the morning by a psychiatrist.

From the first moment, the investigators of the ICF Limassol examine two scenarios: either murder or suicide. However, so far, neither has been definitively confirmed. The only witness in the case is the victim's 63-year-old wife, with investigators trying to piece together the puzzle to reach safe conclusions. Authorities are awaiting scientific answers from samples taken from both the victim and the suspect in order to determine whether they were intoxicated.

The 63-year-old told investigators they had both consumed alcohol and argued before her husband's death over the quantities of sweets their son had sent them from England.

However, information on our website indicates that the couple has recently had disagreements, mainly over property issues related to relatives in Ukraine. It is recalled that the autopsy, which was carried out yesterday, showed that the cause of death of the 62-year-old was caused by internal bleeding caused by injury and cutting an organ, namely by knife.
