The US submarine USS Indiana, of the US 6th Fleet, which is in Limassol port for New Year's Day, will be visited by President Nikos Christodoulides on Tuesday.
The crew of the submarine is welcomed by the US Ambassador to Cyprus, Julie Fisher, in a post on "X".
The nuclear-powered submarine, which is in Limassol port for New Year's Day, is named after the state of Indiana, and its insignia "honors Indiana's racing heritage with its famous line-of-the-line racing flag."
President Christodoulides, according to a presidency announcement, will visit the submarine on Tuesday afternoon.
