The Peace Team 2 peace | Connective Threads presents the new art installation in a public space, curated by Elena Daniel. According to a press release, "Oneiropagides 2" is a large-scale collective project, made of knitwear pieces with the technique of crochet, for the creation of which women from all communities of Cyprus have collaborated over the last six months. The project is being implemented to replace the original "Dream Catchers", which was part of the programme of the European Capital of Culture Pafos2017.
The action is supported by the Petrideio Foundation in the context of its 30 years of contribution to sports, education and culture. The event will take place on Sunday 8 December 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Ibrahim's Inn, Paphos City Centre.
A party will follow, to celebrate the result of the beautiful cooperation of all participants and friends of the action, at Beatrice Kafeneio.
All activities are dedicated to the memory of Christiana Mouzouri, co-founder of Peace2peace / Connective Threads.
