LIMASSOL AREA - OVERNIGHT ROAD WORKS

Overnight works will be carried out from Monday on the Limassol-Nicosia and Limassol-Paphos motorways, as well as on the Limassol Bypass, with the Police recommending caution to passing drivers.

According to an announcement by the Department of Public Works, works on the Limassol-Nicosia motorway will be carried out on the section between Skarinou I/C and Germasogeia I/C, for the purpose of replacing safety barriers. They will take place between November 11 and 21, 2024, Monday to Thursday, from 8.00 p.m. until 6.00 a.m. the next day. During the works, one lane of the motorway will be closed in both directions to Nicosia and Limassol, partially over a length of approximately 200 meters. Traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane of the road.

On the Limassol-Paphos motorway, works will be carried out during the period 11-21 November, 2024, Monday to Thursday, from 9.00 pm, until 5.00 am the next day. During these periods, one lane will be closed in the direction to Paphos, partially for a length of about 500 meters and traffic will be channelled to the adjacent lane of the road. According to an announcement from the Department of Public Works, work will be carried out to place reflective nails at the junctions of the motorway.

The overnight works on the Limassol Bypass Road will be carried out in the section between New Hospital and Moutagiaka, during the period between November 11 and December 05, 2024, Monday to Thursday, from 8.00 in the evening, until 6.00 in the morning of the next day. During these periods, one lane will be closed on the motorway, partially for a length of about 200 meters and traffic will be channelled to the adjacent lane. According to an announcement from the Department of Public Works, work will be carried out to clean rainwater grates on the bypass.

The Police recommend caution to passing drivers of vehicles, who are asked to move at a safe, low speed, maintain a safe distance from vehicles in front, and comply with temporary road signs in the area of road works.
