FESTIVE SPIRIT AT AIRPORTS

Hermes Airports welcomes this year's festive season by offering passengers at Larnaka and Pafos airports a unique Christmas experience. Yesterday afternoon, Hermes Airports staff along with members of the airport community turned on the festive lights at Larnaka Airport, officially marking the start of the Christmas season.

Throughout December, several events will accompany the festive atmosphere where passengers and visitors will enjoy live performances by musical ensembles performing favourite Christmas melodies.

At Larnaka Airport, more than 800 children from primary schools in the province will participate in interactive workshops with the program including a treasure hunt inside the airport, creative crafts, games and an interactive electronic puzzle.

In addition, the managing company of the airports continues its support to the program "Adopt a Family for Christmas" of the Pancyprian Volunteerism Coordinative Council, contributing so that every family has access to food and children to gifts during the festive season.

Maria Kouroupi, Director Aviation Development and Communication at Hermes Airports, said: "Christmas is a time that brings together people from all over the world, and our airports are the meeting point of this global family. This year, we have created an extensive program of events and through the actions, we seek to convey the message of solidarity that is the essence of the festive spirit."
