A recreation center on the beach between the communities of Argaka and Agia Marina Chrysochous was demolished in the morning by crews of the District Administration.
The business did not have the required permits and was built in a beach protection zone, authorities said.
The Pafos District Administration had asked for help from the Pafos police and a strong force wasain the area for fear of incidents.
