It is noted that the vehicle involved in the accident was reported by its owner as stolen at noon of the same day.

The 18-year-old from Jordan, who was discharged from hospital, was arrested for facilitating interrogations.

A foreigner attacked and injured a police officer with a steel pole after a chase in the area of central Nicosia.

The incident took place around noon, when police received a message about causing a commotion outside the offices of the non-governmental organization Hope for Children.
