The accident fatally injured the 18-year-old in the back seat, while an 18-year-old from Jordan sitting next to her was injured. Police are searching for the driver and passenger of the vehicle, who fled the area on foot.
It is noted that the vehicle involved in the accident was reported by its owner as stolen at noon of the same day.
The 18-year-old from Jordan, who was discharged from hospital, was arrested for facilitating interrogations.

A foreigner attacked and injured a police officer with a steel pole after a chase in the area of central Nicosia.
