Proving once again how much he loves Pafos and Cyprus in general and how important the concept of respect for the place where he lives is for him, the Chinese origin and naturalized Cypriot municipal councillor of Pafos, Alexandros Jiang, is currently implementing a nationwide campaign for cleanliness and promotion of respect for nature in our country.
Together with his family, friends and many Chinese who live permanently on the island, Alexandros organizes clean-up campaigns in various areas, starting in Paphos.
Speaking to "F", the first municipal councillor of Chinese origin in Cyprus, points out that his effort starts from the need to protect the environment which, he says, is deeply rooted in people's hearts.
As immigrants in this country, we have to respond. The campaign of friends and compatriots of Alexander Jiang will be extended from the middle of this month to Limassol, followed next month by Larnaca and Nicosia.
