The renovation works of the traditional core of Geroskipou are now in full progress.
The construction works concern demolition of existing roads and sidewalks, earthworks, installation works of new utility networks, street lighting and paving of roads.
The roads affected by the execution of the works of the First Section are Arsinois, Athens (west of Kerkyra Street), Dionysos, Corfu, Leontiou and G. Talioti (from intersection with Athinon Street to traffic lights). On Arsinois, Athinon and Dionysou streets, for the next three months and until December 15, works will be carried out and will remain closed to traffic. On Corfu, Leontiou and G. Talioti streets, interventions will occasionally be carried out for the undergrounding of the EAC network.
During the works, safe access for pedestrians, affected residents and visitors to residences and other businesses is ensured throughout the execution of the works.
Depending on the progress of the works and always on time, there will be a new detailed update with all the necessary information for the remaining phases of the project, it is stressed in a relevant announcement of the Municipality of East Pafos.
