A high pressure system is affecting the Eastern Mediterranean, with the Met Service predicting sunshine, near 30s and mild conditions into early next week, as many are enjoying a long weekend holiday.
Sunny throughout today with more than a fair share of late October warmth. Winds will mainly be northeasterly and in western areas light to moderate northwesterly force three to four, over slight seas.
Temperatures will rise to 28 degrees Celsius inland and in coastal regions and 17 on the mountains.
Clear skies this evening with mainly northwesterly to northeasterly winds, light to moderate force three to four, over slight seas. Temperatures will drop to 13 degrees Celsius inland, 15 in coastal regions and eight on the mountains.
Sunny and warm over the next three days, the October 28th national holiday long weekend, with temperatures remaining in the near thirties, slightly higher than the seasonal average.
