BANANA FESTIVAL

The organized groups of Kissonerga with the support of the Municipality of Akamas organize the 1st Banana Festival in Kissonerga on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at 3 o'clock in the square – old stadium of the community. The special Banana Festival will include a cultural and artistic program and free bananas and banana derivatives/dried, sweets & drinks will be given. In the area there will be kiosks with traditional products and dishes such as resi, baked breads, hot snacks, etc. as well as a children's corner with inflatable, painting and sports for children.
There will also be a walk in banana plantations and the antiquities of the village, in the prehistoric settlements of Mosfilia and Skalia.
