The Municipality of East Pafos, based on the information of the contractor of the Geroskipou traditional core regeneration project (MILTIADES NEOPHYTOU C.E.C. & D.), informs the public that from 16/09/2023 construction works will begin on the first part of the project.
The project includes demolition works on existing roads and pavements, earthworks, installation works of new utility networks (EAC and CYTA), street lighting and paving of roads.
The roads affected by the execution of the works of the First Section are Arsinois, Athens (west of Kerkyra Street), Dionysos, Corfu, Leontiou and G. Talioti (from intersection with Athinon Street to traffic lights).
Works will be carried out on Arsinois, Athinon and Dionysou streets, for the next three months and until December 15, 2024, and will remain closed to traffic. On Corfu, Leontiou and G. Talioti streets, interventions will occasionally be carried out for the undergrounding of the EAC network.
During the works, safe access for pedestrians, affected residents and visitors to homes and other businesses will be ensured throughout the execution of the works.
Depending on the progress of the works and always on time, there will be a new detailed update with all the necessary information for the remaining phases of the project.
The Municipality and contractor would like to apologize in advance for any inconvenience that is likely to be caused in the context of the project.
