The Aeronautical Exercise "EUNOMIA 5-2024", which took place from 12 to 18 September 2024 in the sea area west and south of Cyprus, was successfully completed.

In the context of the exercise, in which personnel from the National Guard and the Greek, French and Italian Armed Forces participated, subjects of maritime interdiction, anti-aircraft operations, surface and anti-submarine warfare operations, operations against asymmetric threats, search and rescue operations, as well as the tactical part of civilian evacuation operations and cyber warfare exercises were examined.

The aim of the activities of the Quartet is, inter alia, to maintain and improve interoperability and cooperation between the Armed Forces of the four countries and to strengthen the joint naval and air presence in the Eastern Mediterranean, with the aim of ensuring conditions of security and stability in the wider region.
