As of August 26, taxis should be parked only in the designated parking area for taxis at airports, the Licensing Authority said in a statement, following the emergency security measures and announcements by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works regarding the new arrangements at Pafos Airport.
As stated, the parking spaces in front of the terminal will only be used for boarding and/or disembarking passengers and parking will not exceed one minute.
It is also recalled that in case of violation of the terms and conditions for the use of the urban areas of Larnaka and Pafos Airports by drivers and/or holders of road use licenses for urban, rural and intercity taxis, the Licensing Authority decided to immediately suspend for a period of seven days the right of entry to the Airports to those who violate.
Please note that in cases where infringements are repeated, the time of suspension of the right of entry will be increased by seven days, with a maximum of thirty days, when the right of entry will be permanently suspended.
