The two young suspects in the brutal murder that took place last Wednesday in which 38-year-old Andreas Kouzoupis and his Slovak friend were killed are currently suggesting scenes as part of the examinations and investigations of the case.
The two suspects were taken shortly after 9 a.m. this morning, accompanied by several members of the police to the two scenes of the murder. Specifically, at the point where the two victims were found charred, inside the burning vehicle in the area of Litovounos, parallel to the main road network, but also in the area of Limnes in the community of Arakapas, where they seem to have killed the victims with a shotgun.
The investigators of the ICF Limassol have completed the most important pieces of the puzzle behind the shocking case that shook Cypriot society, while all that remains is to determine who shot the victims as well as whether there are other motives behind the heinous murder.
The two suspects take the same stance by implicating themselves in the case, but insist on placing the blame on each other. It should be noted that investigators were waiting for the results of scientific examinations on the evidence found during the searches that took place on Saturday near the Arakapas reservoir, where important evidence was found.
The results of tests on the clothes worn by the two suspects at the time of the murder are also awaited, which may also lock the person who pulled the trigger of the shotgun.
As revealed by Philenews, the 19-year-old young suspect was seen passing through the scene of the crime, the spot where the two men were found charred, hours after they were found. In fact, the same information says that a police officer suspected him from the first moment.
Specifically, the 19-year-old was seen passing with his vehicle on the afternoon of July 31 from the Kellaki-Parekklisia road, which at that time was partially cut off for on-site examinations and investigations after blood stains had been found on the asphalt. The 19-year-old allegedly approached the police officer and asked him what had happened and told him that he had passed earlier in the area of Bandovouno and saw fire trucks and police cars.
In addition to the above, the 19-year-old made the mistake of reporting to the police officer that he stopped hanging out with 38-year-old Andreas Kouzoupis, which raised suspicions. All this, on the same day and a few hours after the victims were identified.

The Permanent Assize Court of Limassol refers to punishable behaviour against a minor by a 47-year-old defendant in a case of sexual abuse.
As Filenews is aware, the Assize Court, after a hearing held behind closed doors, yesterday, sentenced the 47-year-old to various prison sentences with more than 5 years.
Furthermore, according to the same information, the Court issued a decree prohibiting the accused, for the next ten years, from offering services to children, from frequenting places with children and from staying in areas adjacent to playgrounds.
The 47-year-old defendant was found guilty of 3 counts of child sexual abuse and one count of sexual harassment in violation of Article 7 of the Prevention and Combating of Violence against Women and Domestic Violence, following a court hearing.
According to the shocking facts of the case, the 47-year-old defendant engaged in sexual acts with the then 17-year-old minor, forcibly forcing her to carry out various heinous acts.
The fact that the victim was 17 years old does not justify the serious and punishable behaviour of the accused nor does it diminish the seriousness of the offences he faces, the Assize Court points out, inter alia, in its judgment.
The offences in question were committed during 2022 with the victim reporting the nightmares she experienced to the Police. The accused was arrested and brought to a direct trial before the Limassol Assize Court.
