YELLOW WEATHER WARNING CONTINUES

 Seasonal low pressure affects the area.

It is recalled that a new yellow warning for extremely high temperatures was issued yesterday afternoon, the Meteorological Service.

Specifically, the temperature today will reach 42 degrees Celsius

According to the Department, the Yellow Warning for extreme maximum temperature will be in effect from 11:00 am today until 17:00 pm of the same day.

Weather in detail

Today, the weather will be mostly clear, although locally increased clouds will be observed during the afternoon and early afternoon. The winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest, mild to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and locally windward to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be a little turbulent and locally a little turbulent. The temperature will rise to 42 degrees in the interior33 in the west, around 36 degrees on the rest of the coasts and 32 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear. The winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest, weak and transient locally to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will gradually become calm until a little turbulent. The temperature will drop to 24 degrees in the interior and west coasts, around 25 degrees on the rest of the coasts and 21 degrees in the higher mountains.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the weather will be mostly clear, but at noon and early afternoon there will be locally increased clouds, which may give isolated rains, in the mountains.

The temperature will rise slightly on Friday, to remain above average climatic values, while over the weekend it is not expected to change significantly.
