Two very important programmes-projects are being worked out by the local authority of Pafos which, when implemented, will have a very positive social impact. Both projects concern the creation of housing units for the elderly but also for young couples, mainly with minor children.
According to pafoslive's information, the municipality of Pafos plans to develop housing for these two categories of citizens of the city who face great difficulties, due to the large increase in rents and the reduction of the purchasing power of tenants and pensioners.
The beneficiaries selected on the basis of transparent criteria will pay the local authority low rents in order to address one of the most serious problems of modern times.
