Last night, a new attempt to introduce mobile phones into prisons through the buffer zone was thwarted.
Specifically, according to filenews, unknown persons threw two bags containing a total of seven mobile phones from the buffer zone to the wings. However, one bag with four mobiles fell in the security zone and the other with three mobiles, fell on the barbed wire.
A patrol of prison guards immediately noticed the action of the illegals and received the two bags.
Coincidentally, three days ago, searches of the cells found seven mobile phones and they were confiscated.
The Ministry of Justice is applying stricter tactics on the issue of mobile phones in prisons and until the new deactivation system arrives, it will continue intensive checks in cells, since proven crimes are ordered by prisons.
It is indicative that since last January about 100 mobile phones have been found in the hands of detainees.
