Finally, the wait for the district of Pafos regarding the ambitious project of the marina, since it is a matter of days before the signing of an agreement between the Deputy Ministry of Tourism and the consortium of consultants selected after a tender, who will prepare the offers for finding an investor.
According to "F's" secure information, the consortium selected to provide consulting services to the Deputy Ministry for the marina has been officially informed, as well as the rest of the participants in the tender for their non-selection.
Now, as we are informed, the successful bidder has 20 days to submit the contractor's documents to the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, which is not excluded earlier.
According to "F's" information, a consortium of companies was selected as consultant for the Pafos marina, in which Deloitte also participated. As mentioned, the consortium of consultants selected will have as its main task the preparation of the tender documents that will follow in order to find a strategic investor for the development of the Paphos Marina project in the area of Potima in Kissonerga. However, a process that is estimated to take about six months is expected when the tender to find an investor for the project is expected to be announced early next year.
We remind you that the promotion of the project that the Pafos district has been waiting for years is a priority for the Deputy Ministry of Tourism and the government, with President Christodoulides himself recently stating during his visit to the province that he will lay the foundation stone for the project.
With the marina project, the Pafos district expects not only to further enrich its tourism product but also to attract nautical tourism and other investments.
