In these posts, there is talk of specific investments, which the particular MEP allegedly made and which supposedly yield large financial returns. In order to convince the public of the authenticity of these posts, the astute use in their posts, elements of international media, such as the BBC and other similar organizations. The Police call on the public to be extremely careful and not to follow such posts as it is a scam. It also urges the public, who want to engage in investments, to trust only registered and licensed financial institutions.
