Four municipalities and eight community complexes will operate in the Pafos district from the first of July together with the district government organization.

In the municipality of Pafos, where no new community has joined, the number of municipal councillors has increased to 23 due to an increase in the number of voters. Phedon Phedonos has been re-elected mayor while Angelos Onisiforou has been elected deputy mayor. In the municipality of East Pafos, formerly Geroskipou, five new communities have joined and five deputy mayors have been elected, in addition to mayor Nikos Palios, one for the district of Geroskipou and four for the new municipal districts as well as 11 municipal councillors.

In the municipality of Akamas, Marinos Lambrou was re-elected mayor. Seven deputy mayors and nine municipal councillors have also been elected from the Pegeia district and the new municipal districts that have joined. Within the boundaries of the Pafos district, eight community clusters will operate. The second and seventh clusters include 18 communities, ten in the fourth cluster, eight in the first cluster and seven in clusters three, five and six. Charalambos Pittokopitis was elected president of the provincial self-government organization, which will be flanked by a 16-member council.
