TEMPERATURE ON THE RISE AGAIN

Today the temperature will rise to around 38 degrees in the interior, around 30 on the western coasts, around 32 on the rest of the coasts and 28 degrees in the higher mountains, says the Department of Meteorology.

The temperature until Thursday will gradually rise, to continue to fluctuate above the average climatic values. On Friday, however, a slight drop in temperature is expected.

The forecast in detail:

Weak low pressure affects the area.

Today, after the local thin fog and low clouds have dissipated, the weather will generally become mostly clear, while during the midday hours and after, increased clouds will be observed in the mountains. Winds will initially be southeast to southwest and locally variable, light, 3 Beaufort, gradually becoming mostly southwest to northwest, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to a little rough. The temperature will rise to around 38 degrees in the interior, around 30 on the western coasts, around 32 on the rest of the coasts and up to 28 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight, the weather will continue to be mostly clear, with increased low cloud in places. Later and during the morning hours, locally light mist or fog is expected to form, particularly inland and eastern areas. The winds will gradually become downslope, light, 3 Beaufort and the sea will be calm to a little rough. The temperature will drop to around 23 degrees inland, on the south and east coasts, around 24 on the west and north coasts and around 19 degrees in the higher mountains.

On Wednesday, Thursday and also on Friday, the weather will be mostly sunny. During the evening and morning hours, locally thin fog or mist is expected to form, but also low clouds.
