Paphos Mayor and mayoral candidate Phaedon Phaedonos highlighted the city’s investment in public transport infrastructure during a visit by Transport Minister Alexis Vafeades yesterday.
Phaedonos emphasised that the municipality undertook and financed key projects on behalf of the Ministry, including the Karavela bus terminal and transfer stations at the harbour and Tombs of the Kings Avenue.
A municipal statement said the works will soon be completed with the addition of “smart” boarding stops and sanitation facilities, creating a modern public transport network that caters to both Paphos’s tourism industry and resident needs.
