PAPHOS FLOWER FESTIVAL
The Park of Colours was filled with children - Events for the Flower Festival 2024 are completed
Continuing a long-standing tradition, the Municipality and the Physiological Spiritual Club of Paphos are also organizing events this year in the context of the Flower Shops, the festival of spring and flowers.
The Flower Shops, which have now been identified with the cultural tradition and identity of Paphos, were celebrated this year in an original and creative way. On Tuesday, May 21, the dance performance "Dionysos - A True Story" took place in front of the flowery City Hall and today, Sunday 26th, the Feast of the Flowers in the Park of Colors.
The event started with the chariot procession accompanied by children from the primary and kindergartens of Paphos, led by the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Municipality of Paphos. The procession was also accompanied by the schools of dance and sports. It was followed by an artistic program by the dance schools Studio 6 School of Dance, School of Dance Movement, Flow Dance Studio, and the children's and women's group of AGO of Ermolia Pelopida. The event was greeted by the Mayor of Pafos Mr. Faidonas Faidonos and the Secretary of the Physiological Group Mrs. Mary Hadzisofokleous. Finally, young and old had the opportunity to participate in creative activities coordinated by Kagia Art Studio of Xenia Vlachos, Moon Art Studio of Elena Nikolaou and Myrtos Tsokka, Inspired Family Fun, and Chrystalla Tsifouti.
The event was supported by the Federation of Parents Associations of Public & Community Kindergartens, and the Federation of Parents and Guardians Associations of Primary Schools of Pafos City and District.
