A week of information and checks on the driving of buses and trucks is taking place from today, Monday, May 13, until Sunday, May 19, 2024, by the European Traffic Police Network – Roadpol, in all European countries, which are members.
During the campaign (2nd for this year) the Police in cooperation with the Department of Road Transport – TUM will check:
Ø Drivers' and vehicles' documents
Ø The speed of vehicles
Ø Speed limitation devices
Ø Driving/working hours
Ø Tachographs (analogue and digital devices) and
Ø The mechanical condition of vehicles
In addition, zero tolerance will be shown for traffic offences that contribute to fatal and serious road collisions.
