A legislation with... A technological title was passed last week by the European Parliament. An important development, with repercussions for all citizens of the European Union.
Among other things, it sets out the path towards the abolition of charges for international calls and SMS within the EU. Until 2029, there should be no differentiation in retail prices based on the fact that calls originate in or end in different Member States. The agreed text also extends the existing price caps for intra-EU calls until 2032.
